KEY ACHIEVEMENTS ON THE EU ANTI-CORRUPTION AGENDA

Transparency International Latvia (TI Latvia), in cooperation with Transparency International EU (TI EU), would like to invite you to a public event to mark the launch of the EU Anti-Corruption Scorecard evaluating the performance of the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the European Union on transparency and anti-corruption issues. The event will be held on Wednesday, 21 October 2015, from 10:00 to 13:00 at the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The discussion will focus on key anti-corruption achievements of the EU Council during the mandate of the Latvian Presidency from 1 January to 30 June 2015 and will highlight goals to be achieved by the upcoming presidencies (please see the agenda on page 2).

This event concludes a two-year pilot project “EU Presidency Anti-Corruption Scorecard” aiming to assess and improve the transparency and accountability of four consecutive Presidencies of the European Union – Lithuanian, Greek, Italian and Latvian – conducted jointly by TI EU and four corresponding national chapters.
