LIVE BROADCAST from conference “Integrity Pacts for Safeguarding EU Funds in Latvia and Europe: Lessons Learned and Challenges for the Future” on the 28 February at 10.00-15.00.
The conference aims to bring together Latvian and foreign experts from government and civil society to:
- Discuss and assess the emerging impacts, main challenges and lessons learned from the Integrity Pact piloting in Latvia and in other 11 participating countries;
- Generate concrete ideas for citizen and CSO engagement in the implementation of the EU Cohesion Policy in Latvia after 2020 – including use of the Integrity Pact and applicability of practices employed in other countries (i.e. participatory budgeting, public debates and data-driven monitoring).
