ABOUT TRANSPARENCY INTERNATIONAL
Transparency International (or TI) was founded in 1993 as an international non-governmental organization to fight corruption and to advocate for and protect the victims and witnesses of corruption. TI has created a global movement with chapters in over 100 countries around the globe, with its headquarters stationed in Berlin. TI’s vision is that of a world free of corruption. “Sabiedrība par atklātību – Delna” was founded on August 27, 1998 as Transparency International’s chapter in Latvia.
Every year, TI publishes the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI), which ranks every country in the world by levels of corruption.
